In Home and Virtual Feeding Therapy
Word of Mouth Feeding Therapy was born from a lunchtime conversation with a friend. As I shared my passion for helping children who struggle with feeding difficulties, the idea for my business took shape.
With over 30 years of experience as a pediatric Occupational Therapist, I am passionate about helping children and their families build the skills and confidence needed for everyday success. My clinical expertise includes pediatric feeding disorders, sensory processing differences, autism, and oral motor development.
I have presented extensively on pediatric feeding, interoception and regulation, both nationally and internationally. As an international speaker, I have presented Walking Through the Stages of Feeding in Slovakia and the Czech Republic (2023) and, most recently, Calm and Connected: Inside-Out Regulation in Slovakia (2026). I have also presented for the Michigan Autism Alliance and enjoy sharing practical, evidence-informed strategies with therapists, educators, and families.
In addition to my clinical practice and teaching, I played a key role in developing a successful pediatric feeding program.
Whether I am working one-on-one with a child, coaching parents, or educating other professionals, my goal is always the same: to provide compassionate, individualized care that empowers children to reach their full potential and helps families feel confident and supported.
On a personal note, I am married with two grown, beautiful daughters and an active dog. I enjoy walking, swimming, kayaking, spending time in nature, and traveling.
I look forward to meeting you and becoming a part of your child's team!
